I think it's a nice base for a short break. Location is incredible - short walk to the center of the nice town of Alston, and centre of town.

We had a fantastic stay at this centrally located apartment. the spacious and well-decorated accommodation provided an indulgent luxury break for our young family. the top-quality bed, mattress, and bedding ensured a comfortable night's sleep. the walk-in shower had excellent pressure and hot water. the kitchen had all the necessary facilities, and the village square location allowed us to keep an eye on the lively atmosphere without any intrusive noise.
Felt immediately at home, nothing to complain about.

The apartment was spacious and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed and excellent kitchen facilities. It was conveniently located in the center of town, with shops and pubs nearby. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the town square from the apartment, providing a nice relaxing atmosphere.
One of the drawbacks was the lack of a washing machine, which would have been helpful for a longer stay. there was no drying rack provided, so if the weather was wet, it would have been difficult to dry our clothes.

Great location with a supermarket next door and a friendly pub nearby. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-furnished. The bed was comfortable and the heating system was adjustable, which was a plus. We were also provided with breakfast food, which was a nice bonus.
The communication regarding the breakfast was misleading. We were only given breakfast for the first night of our stay, even though we made two separate bookings.

Wow! My stay at Town View was absolutely delightful. From the smooth check, in and check, out to the friendly and accommodating staff, everything was top, notch. the room was beautifully decorated, tidy, and spotlessly clean. It had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen where I could cook my Christmas dinner. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better , walking distance to pubs and restaurants, even in the pouring rain. the town itself is charming, with a fascinating history and surrounded by breathtaking moors and hidden villages. the hosts were attentive and took care of every detail, providing helpful guides to the area. I also loved the charming shops in town, offering unique artwork and vintage items. this was a perfect stay that made my Christmas holiday complete!
Nothing for me 😊.

It offers easy access to various amenities, such as a supermarket and a friendly pub. the apartment is spacious and well-furnished, with a lovely kitchen and a comfortable bed. the hosts are welcoming and accommodating, providing a complimentary bottle of wine and offering a variety of breakfast options. the apartment is also clean and well-maintained, with a cozy log stove for those chilly evenings. There is even the option to control the heating throughout.
Opening the windows can be a bit fiddly.

The location of this charming flat is unbeatable, right in the heart of the village square. You'll have a front, row seat to all the comings and goings, and yet, there is no intrusive noise. the spacious room is beautifully furnished, providing a feeling of serenity and comfort. the top, quality bed and bedding will ensure a restful sleep, and the walk, in shower with good water pressure is a delight. Plus, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.
Some guests have mentioned that the cooker could be improved as it is difficult to control and not up to the high standard of the rest of the property.
